Only one truck goes from Jarabacoa to Constanza, since the road is closed for construction for most of the day. It took A LOT of asking around to find wich truck it was and when it left but we finally got there! Constanza is really beautiful; all steep hills and valleys covered in green fields, growing much of the island’s produce. We rode past strawberry fields, stopping to grab a quick handfull, on our way to see a massive waterfall. The water was too cold to swim in, but the ride itself was lovely and exciting (Jake had to help push his moto/driver up one steeper hills).
A tip for anyone thinking about travelling to Constanza: rent a car. Everything you want to see is an hour or two away, up steep, gravelly roads, and getting there on a moto is not cheap or easy.
